...abundance and just knowing that, like, welcoming in collaborations shouldn't put us into scarcity, it put us into abundance like we will be able to accomplish more because of the collaboration with the right who and not feel like we need to guard or be scared because we're letting someone know how the sausage is made, and inviting them into our business or in your personal life.
How are entrepreneurs like us daring bravely to build a stage? Ditch the sweat pants? And step up to the mic? How do we create our own transformative events? So we can get our message out into the world in a bigger way. It's not only profitable, but it's actually something we can be proud of. That's the question. And the answers are inside this podcast. My name is Sarah Fejfar. Welcome to greenroom Central.
Okay, for the next few months, this podcasts gonna be a little different. I spoiler alert, I'm moving this summer, which is going to be so fun. And we're taking our sixth annual fever, family road trip, summer road trip. And so because of all of that, I knew my life was gonna be crazy. And so I decided not to do interviews for you this summer. But what I wanted was for you to still get a fresh hot now episode every single week. So I decided to look at my audible and my Emma's or my apple Notes app, which is where I take notes on every book that I've read, and put together a book review series for you. And each week, I'm going to bring you a new book that I love and recommend. And hopefully you'll find something in here that you want to pick up. So without further ado, here's this week's book. If you've ever felt like you've been struggling alone to accomplish your goals, or get a project completed, then this is for you, I want you to listen in because we're gonna talk about the power of collaboration from the book, who not how by the power couple, Dan Sullivan. And Benjamin Hardy. This is the first in their trilogy, as I'm calling it.
And we're going to talk about how to leverage the strengths of others to accelerate your success. And I've got some fun tips to share with you today. So let's dive in. I loved this book, loved, loved, loved and I always love to give credit to who recommended it. But I cannot remember who recommended this one to me. I think I just saw it in so many influencers feeds, when it came out that I added it to my list. And I'm so glad I did.
Because this the whole concept of this book is really about asking better questions about asking the question, who already knows how to do this? Who can help me with this? Versus how do I get this done. And I think it's someone like me who's a acts of service and is my love language. And I'm a chronic, like, don't ask for help or type of person. This, this was an eye opening book. And so I'd encourage you if you fall into that same category where acts of service are is your love language to pick this one up, because it's going to help you think differently about everything really, all the different categories of your life, business and personal, where you could be asking, who can do this better than I can and call in the resources that you need.
And, of course, be resourceful in the manner as well. But it makes me think about this morning, I was watching James Wedmore stories, and he's getting ready for a launch in a couple of weeks. And he said, You know I want to take you through the the process as much as I can behind the scenes getting ready for this launch. And
he said what I normally do is do a meditation every morning. And once I calm the chatter. I asked myself a question of like, what do I need right now in order to do in order to accomplish my goals? And he said the answer he usually receives is you need to do less. You need to call in person who can help you. And I found that totally kind of well timed for our conversation about this book who not how today because you know James has a lot of experience. He's running a $12 million a year business right now in the online coaching space.
And so he's been very successful. And what he's saying to us is, hey, if it's silly to not call in help, it's silly not to call in the person who knows how to do this better than you, because that person definitely exists. And so one thing they talked about in the book is this identifying your who's it's, it's identifying those collaborations that you would benefit from welcoming into your life. And I'll share that I was on with a client this week, and they were teaching me something.
And I had this light bulb moment, I was like, Oh, my gosh, I just have never thought about it that way. Like, I wouldn't have even been able to Google that because I wouldn't have known that those two things go together. And like that, in order to get my answer, I need to put those two things together, and then ask the question in that way, and it really blew my mind. And reminded me that when we bring the right who's into our lives, we're able to ask better questions, we're able to have doors open that we didn't even know, the door was there. And so we wouldn't have known to knock.
And I know, it sounds so vague. But because this concept is so applicable in so many different facets of our lives. I think it has to be bagged. Like, we we don't know what doors are there. We don't know what to Google, if we don't even know it's a thing. This, I'll give you another example. This this morning, my husband and I were on the phone with a relocation specialist, because we're moving this summer. And this person specializes in finding rental homes, which is our target for where we're going.
And it is she was explaining the process and the relationship she has with all the property management companies in the town that were going to I was just blowing my mind. And it was so easy from our my husband, and I just say yes, of course, we'd love to work with you. Because you just know so many things that we didn't even know were a thing you have so many relationships established that we don't have, we of course don't have the time to go create them. And so seemed like a no brainer. And it's going to make the process so much easier and more enjoyable for us. And dare I say fun.
And so the next thing I want to talk about is like, in the book, they talk about abundance, and just knowing that, like welcoming in collaborations shouldn't put us into scarcity, it put us into abundance, like we will be able to accomplish more because of the collaboration with the right who and and not feel like we need to guard or be scared because we're letting someone know how the sausage is made. And inviting them into our business or in your personal life.
And I think, I think want to leave it there i i find this book to be eye opening. It's so well written because Benjamin Hardy is really good like that. So I want you to read it, if it feels like it's calling to you based on the description I gave. And then know that next week, we're going to talk about the second book in the trilogy, as I'm calling it, because they did three books together. And that one's called the gap in the game. And that's for every single entrepreneur who is like very achievement oriented, very ambitious, and needs to be reminded to celebrate the wins. It's good. Okay, that's it on who not how it helped, always helpful. Go pick up a copy, and I'll see you next week. Take care.
