I hope this finds you excited for Fall and you and your loved ones healthy.
I thought of five things I wanted to share with you:
Favorite adventure: Itās hard to pick just one this monthā¦ my top 3 are: an impromptu swim in Saint Mary Lake in Glacier National Park, my 1st swim under a waterfall at Horsetail Falls in the Columbia River Gorge, and of course our month in Door County, WI, our happy place.
What Iām learning: Iām currently reading Alex Hormoziās $100M Leads and loving it (just finished his $100M Offers and it was equally outstanding.) I also have to mention The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel. Itās now one of my top 2 favorite money books. (8,000 miles in the car since June 15th means I had time to move through a lot of books!)
What Iām proud of: āCapacity Buildingā - a wrench got thrown into our summer plans and my husband ended up spending 7 of the last 9 weeks in NYC for work (with more to come.) Itās been challenging...

I hope this letter finds you doing outstanding and enjoying Summer. Yay!
Iāve got five things for you on this fine June day:
Favorite adventure: Climbing Camelback Mountain. I had a day off between client events in Phoenix and decided to make the most of it. Pro tip: bring ample water and pick a cool time of day to hike; I did neither. šš¬
What Iām learning: I LOVED Buy Back Your Time by Dan Martell. His system for standard operating procedure creation is excellent and his conversation on leadership helped me think more expansively. Close second: re-reading Traffic Secrets by Russell Brunson & Super Attractor by Gabby Bernstein. A book is never the same because weāre never the same person.
What Iām proud of: We just finished the 2,000-mile drive from Oregon to Door County, Wisconsin. I like to call it our ārepositioning cruise.ā Itās a lot of work to align the stars to make this 6-week road trip happen each year and Iām so proud of putting...

I hope this note finds you doing outstanding and enjoying Spring.
Itās been a minute since I wrote you a monthly letter! I decided itās high time to switch up the format. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it for you!
Five things:
Favorite adventure: Sunday nightās sunset on the Oregon Coast. I do not tire of chasing sunsets nor walks on the beach. Very close second: a family hike to Wahclella Falls.
What Iām learning: ChatGPT. Two words for you: mind. blown. Honorable mention goes to reading Brene Brownās Atlas of the Heart.
What Iām proud of: Completed a 30-day juice fast. Had so many learnings that I decided to release a whole podcast episode on the topic.
What Iām working on: Audience development
What Iām excited for: Worrying less (and knowing more) about the money stuff. Last week I hired a CPA VA to outsource (nearly) all things money to.
Iād love to hear your five! Send me a DM on Instagram with them!

How are you?! I hope this note finds you doing outstanding and just about ready to step away from the laptop (like me!) and enjoy Thanksgiving week!
Interestingly enough, Thanksgiving š¦ is why I started my business.
I donāt think Iāve ever shared that before.
The thing is, when I was growing up, the only time (I recall) that my family hosted guests was for Thanksgiving. And I loved it. The energy of getting ready, people gathering, and feeling that sense of community and connection that comes from togetherness is pure magic. Thatās where my love affair with events startedā¦ over the Macyās Thanksgiving Day Parade, at a table with all the leaves added, eating soft rolls with maple butter, and pumpkin pie.
Now, I always love to share my favorite adventureā¦ and this month, it must be the simple and close-to-home adventure of biking to school with my daughter each morning through piles of crunchy leaves. The blue skies and Fall colors have...

Happy Fall!
I hope this note finds you doing outstanding and enjoying the leaves turning and apple cider and perhaps even a cozy sweater!
The past month has been an adventurous one for me. I produced a clientās event in Athens and Delphi and followed that with a site visit to Istanbul for their 2023 event. And then I got COVID for the first time. Oy.
On the return flight I started to feel like something wasnāt right and immediately tested positive upon getting home and didnāt make it out of bed for five days. Iām happy to report I feel a million times better now, even though Iām not yet at 100%.
Iād say a highlight was hiking the Delphi Archaeological Site, walking the roof of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, touring the two Four Seasons in Istanbul, and boating on the Bosporus River. The common thread being they were all so peaceful.
Iām curious, what did you learn last month?
Hereās a few things I learned:

I hope this note finds you loving life and feeling a sense of joy and gratitude for all the experiences you and your loved ones enjoyed over the summer.
I always love to share a favorite adventure with you in the hopes it inspires you to create some with your family and friends. Itās just that I would be hard pressed to select just one that was my favorite since I last wrote.
Here are a few highlightsā¦ Spending a month in Northern Door County, WI was nothing short of magical. Celebrating my 42nd birthday over Door County cherry pie was delicious. The YMCA of the Rockies was a fun family experience and perhaps the best accidental find ever. Rocky Mountain National Park was stunning. The Glenwood, CO Hot Springs were so fun to float in. Celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary over family dinner at home was relaxing (got to sit outside and enjoy corn on the cob!) The Bandon Dunes Golf Resort was breathtaking. Oregon is gorgeous!!!! My favorite adventure this past month is a tie. The stars aligned (well actually, months of planning paid off) and we got to take a long-anticipated trip to a magical campground in the San Juan Islands over the 4th of July. Itās a gorgeous area with picturesque harbors; and riding the car ferry through those islands was breathtaking; I look forward to going back.
The 2nd half of the tie must be the hike we took lakeside in Coeur ād Alene. Itās our 4th summer taking a road trip from Portland to the Midwest, and we found that spot on our 1st summer road trip and return each year. I LOVE seeing new places AND I love collecting up the ones that we want to continue to return to make more magical family memories atā¦ Coeur ād Alene is most certainly on that list.

Happy June to you!
My favorite adventure this past month was taking a day off to go for a hike in Sedona, AZ. Twenty years ago or so, Oprah told me Sedona was fabulous and Iāve had it in my head ever since that I need to go. I was glad to finally make it happen.
Sedona is an interesting place; not 30 minutes in, the town had me wondering if I needed my energy balanced, what a picture of my aura looks like, and if a psychic reading would, in fact, be a good idea. š But in the end, I decided to stick to my initial plan and hit up The Juicery, Crystal Magic, Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, and hike Cathedral Rock.Ā (All excellent stops, BTW.)

My favorite adventure this past month was a trip to the Oregon Coast. We love it there and typically go monthly. āThe Coast never disappointsā is what we always say on the return. Some people may say āitās cold there; you canāt swim in the waterā but growing up in the Midwest,Ā
a:Ā Iām used to things being COLD, andĀ
b:Ā access to the ocean is such a novelty that itās still a pinch-me moment every time we get to go (and itās just 75 minutes away!)

Spring sure feelsĀ goodĀ this year, doesnāt it?! My favorite adventure this past month was taking a solo road trip to the Skagit River Valley in Washington to fulfill my dream of walking in a daffodil field. Check! I look forward to growing my own flower farm one day! I then wandered up the Salish Sea coast checking out the scenery. Before I knew it, I was almost in Canada and while I wanted to go, and happened to have my passport on me, it was time to head home. Itās crazy fun to explore all the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest! So, what did I learn last month? Great question, Iād love to tell you. (Yes, I stole that line from my new favorite comedian,Ā Elyse Myers.)Ā
